This week, our class went around to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes and put up Turn It Off! signs. Here are some pictures of the students hanging up signs around the school. One student was selected to give a speech to their fellow Cypress classmates about the Turn It Off! program. Teachers please don't forget to Turn It Off!
The Turn It Off! program reminds students to turn off the lights when we leave the classroom, turn off one light switch when we use laptops, put computers in sleep mode, and turning off the computers at the end of the day. Together we can all help the environment!
Just wanted to say KUDOS to your class Ms. Hershman. My class enjoyed and greatly appreciated your class coming in and making the presentation. Not only did they turn off the lights, but reminded me about the overhead before we left class today too! I also turned off all the computers before I left and will assign the job tomorrow. Thank you for making Ms. Fraser's class more conscious. Go Green!
